Between animal welfare, the environment and health, more and more people are opting to at least minimize the amount of animal products coming into their homes and their diets. This workshop is designed to assist those transitioning into a more plant-based diet. We will review common misconceptions (both the positives and negatives) about reducing your animal intake and explore how to build a healthy plant-based diet.
Topics that will be discussed: protein, vitamin and mineral intake, processed plant foods and combining foods for optimal health.
