Getting to Know Brittany Gordon
How did I get here?My name is Brittany Gordon and for years I had struggled for years with chronic eczema, mild to severe allergies and other issues associated with chronic inflammation. As an avid runner, yoga teacher and personal trainer I didn’t want to be held back by achy joints or sore and itchy skin so I decided it was time to take my health into my own hands.
Quickly, I discovered that the foods I ate affected not only my athletic performance but also my skin. The more I experimented with how foods the faster I was able to learn how to truly be in control of my health. |
BackgroundIn 2012 I decided that I needed more than the books and articles I was reading, so I sought out my Personal Trainer Certificate. Eight (8) short months later I headed off to Costa Rica to live in the jungle and become a certified Yoga teacher at the Nosara Yoga Institute. Then in 2014 enrolled I enrolled in the Canadian School of Natural Nutrition to become a Registered Holistic Nutritionist (R.H.N.).
Every day I work to blend together my formal education, personal experience and never-ending curiosity into something that can help others on their personal paths to healthier, happier lives. I want to teach my clients that eating healthy can taste good but more importantly I never want them to feel like they are missing out. |
My PassionMy personal experience with allergies and skin health issues, along with enthusiasm for nutrition and fitness has encouraged me to help others looking to develop and maintain healthy life styles. I do this by supporting their personal health and fitness goals through Sport Nutrition programs, Allergy relief programs, Weight-Loss protocols and general nutritional educational awareness.
My goal is to share my passion for health and fitness with other in order to develop happy and healthy communities and support systems. When we have these supports I believe that we all have the ability to live happy, healthy, and active lives. |
